Knix Rogan, Shetland Gelding

Knix Rogan (stable name Morrissey) was bought as a companion for my old horse who we lost last year and so is now looking for a new home as I'm giving up horses due to uni. He's fully registered with the Shetland pony society, is 12 years old and isn't broken to ride or drive. He's just been used as a companion/pet. He's no bother to handle in and around the stable and will happily stand to be groomed/pampered. However, he does have an issue with being caught and if turned out in to a big field with other horses and left there he won't want to be caught when the time comes.

I'm ideally looking for a forever home for him where he can be used as a companion or pet and spoiled by someone understanding and patient of the above issue. When kept in a regular routine and in a smaller paddock with only one or two other horses he will catch fine, it's only when turned out in a large field with lots of other horses. He has lovely breeding and movements and so could be shown.

Burnside Leava, 2 Year Old Shetland Filly

Burnside Leava, 2 year old filly, bay dun. Still holding on to that winter coat but getting there with the golden colour of her summer coat. Passported with the Shetland pony society. She is about 39”/40” but if an inch on height is very important to you please come and meet her in person, I'm not 100% confident in my measuring skills with small ponies, (my horses are in the 17hh mark so 0,5 inches means nothing).

Moves beautifully and trots up perfectly in hand but never shown to date. Loads and travels like a star. Extremely well handled and used to children, she is as unflappable as they come. I've lent over her back and can tap all over her body when doing so, she couldn't care any less. such a relaxed girl, she'll make a small jokey very happy. up to date with worming and the farrier.
