Merrylegs, 11hh Mare

Section A mare 11hh. I have for sale a lovely little section A pony. 15 years old. I bought Merrylegs for my god daughter but unfortunately she is not the pony for us being too sharp for my god daughter. She would benefit from a confident child who's around horses on a daily basis and that is not put off by a stamp of the foot or moving about when being brushed.

Unfortunately as I only have my daughter 2/3 times a month she needs something much quieter who she can cuddle and fuss all day long. Fantastic to lead about I cannot fault her for that. She's regularly Kong reined out with full tack on perfect. She's never been sick or sorry with me. Had her back and teeth done since she's been with me. She's a very pretty pony put together very well.

I just don't have my goddaughter often enough to give them both a chance to get to know each other and bond. I'd like to find her a 5* knowledgeable home. She is not registered. She is passported, microchipped, up to date with her teeth and feet. Delivery available.

Tig, Riding Gelding

Tig, approx 12hh heavyweight cob gelding rising 4 years. Tig is a lovely young cob, we have recently lightly backed him and he is happily taking everything in his stride. Currently plodding around our village accompanied by another horse and is good with traffic.

Easy to mount from the floor and has a steady approach to his ridden work. Now he just needs someone who will finish off his ridden education and put some miles on him. Easy to catch and loves attention. Please note tig needs to wear a fly rug throughout the summer as he does have mild sweet itch. When he came to us this hadn't been managed correctly and he had rubbed his tail, but since he's been with us and had his fly rug on his tail is beginning to grow back.

Tig will make a fantastic family cob and he deserves a lovely family home. Kind, loving home is a must for this lovely little man. No novices due to his lack of education. Open to vet.

Ralph, 12hh Riding Stallion

Ralph, 4 year old gypsy cob (colt but having him cut this week, would never know he was he so good). Ralph is 12hh. Good for farrier. Good to load and travel. Stand all day to have a fuss. He is a forward little pony, he is happy to lead or stay behind. He is snaffle mouthed.

I took him to a Derby show yesterday as well and he took it all in his stride and was a good boy. I have taken him to a local fun ride and he was happily popping a few logs. I've taken him hacking and he doesn't seem bothered by anything, happy alone or in company, will lead or stay behind.

Ralph would make a great pony for someone, he is a very chilled out character. Due to recently being broken and not much mileage he is still green and but is willing to learn.

Derek is the perfect asset to any family, he will take the tiniest of jockeys on a lead rein or kick on for a bigger tot popping anything he's asked. He will go in front, middle or last, nothing ever been an issue and carry a picnic basket wherever needed. He's well behaved in open spaces or a busy road with nothing been a fuss. No different at a busy show or on a quite hack. We all love Derek.

Stunning mini cob gelding, 12.2hh 4 years old. Up to date with vac, dentist, wormer, etc... Great to load, travel and well behaved away from home. Excellent conformation and very pretty head. He really turns heads and won all his classes and the championship in his only in hand show and was impeccably behaved. Happy to live in or out, with or without company.

Great to clip, handle, feet trim, etc... He has loads of feather and will stand all day to be pampered. Rides in a snaffle, does trec obstacles ridden, in hand or at liberty (free), will do all three paces and change direction from the voice and can self park at the mounting block. Hacks out in company or by himself. Due to his age, now needs his schooling bringing on but I have no rider so is wasted at the moment.

I feel he will make a great ridden show pony with a little more work. Some wardrobe available. Only for sale as he is now a field ornament and will stay that way unless I find a really good home.

Cody is a 3 year old blagdon gelding, roughly measuring 12.2hh but still bum high and has got some filling out to do. He is a very handsome little boy and will do well in the show ring. He has be backed for about 3 weeks by a tall 12 year old and has been ridden by a 7 year old novices and he is proving to be a saint and will make and excellent kids pony.

He hacks out in company perfectly. He hacks out alone but needs more work. He is proving to be bombproof passing cars, tractors, motorbikes, vans and lorries. He walks, trots and canters in open spaces. He's respectful of electric fence.

Poppet, 12.2hh Riding Mare

Super little pony could show, pony club, drive. Poppet is 12.2hh 5 year old cob mare. She is broken and in work but is still green, she lunges and long reins really well and hacks out in front very boldly and not phased by traffic. She is very mannerly to lead and handle, loves a fuss and groom.

She is very happy to pop a small jump and seems to really enjoy this. I do think if someone put some time in to this pony she could do really well in the show ring as is a very straight and good mover! I would think she could get her RI ticket. She is very easy to look after, catch, load, has trimmer up face and chest over winter but can be nervous when picking up back feet.

Honest ad! Harry, 12.2hh heavy cold gelding 8 years old. Has been used as a happy hacker on roads and woods for my 2 daughters and a small adult. Walk, trot and canter, has just started poles and little logs up the woods. Harry will spend all day being groomed and petted. Will follow you around the field for hours. Easy to catch, loves being in work.

Harry can be cheeky, nothing nasty, but is very strong, never reared or bucked. Never run off but will wonder off if he thinks he sees something nice. He would suit a lead rein, confident second pony or even a small adult rider.

We have had Harry since he was 3 and he is definitely part of the family so only 5* home. Would probably be great at drive.

Sky, 11hh Riding Mare

Sky is looking for a new home, she is about 11hh and very cute! She's 4 years old and isn't a posh schooled show pony but would be a fabulous little pony club pony. Sky is absolutely 100% ridden both lead rein and first ridden. She can go out alone or with a group. Not strong or silly, but she will step it up for a capable jockey. Sky can clear 50cm show jumping courses and with a capable jockey will win in the jump off! She's very honest and will try to jump anything for you.

Perfect to travel, load and clip. Vaccinations up to date. Sky had a bad start in life. She was extremely wary of adults around her back end, she's fine with me. She is less nervous of small people than adults and takes a bit of time to trust adults.
