15.3hh Welsh x TB x ID Riding Horse
Would make excellent driving cob, chestnut 4 years old, lovely fantastic movement, nice high head carriage, 15.3hh been hacked out on lanes in woodland over open fields alone, once he has initially got over the occasional few leaps he does when ridden, explanation below.
Good in traffic, hacked out alone and in company he has no vices except the leaping after you initially get on but once he is ridden daily this doesn't happen, pics on my stud page, Golygfar Welsh Cobs.
Perfect until you go to ride him away and then he leaps. After 10 /15 leaps he stops and works as well as any horse his age. Good easy transitions and flowing paces. Welsh x TB x ID, good with children dogs etc. He has been shod last year and behaved impeccably. He has recently decided to play up when loading into trailer, at the moment 6/8 times out of being ridden 6o times in total he does not do it when ridden daily. Absolute bargain price. Open to vet

15.3hh Appaloosa X Stallion with Tack
Part Bred Appaloosa Stallion. Born 18/10/2000 Colour: Loud Black Leopard Spot, Standing at 15.3hh. This late season foal was kept entire and broken as a three year old. He competed in some local in hand and ridden showing, clear round jumping, sponsored rides and hunts. He was then used as a stallion taking outside mares (not all registered appaloosas). Despite this has a 100% spot record with all progeny. Including throwing spots on bays.
Since being brought to Angus in December 2005, Starr has done much better with ridden work since switching from traditional BHS methods to natural horsemanship.
