Bromgrove Horse Fair 19th May
Bromgrove Horse Fair, Sunday 19th May 2013. Held at Victory Meadows on the A38 between Bromsgrove and junction 5 of the M5, postcode B61 7ET. Horse and tack sale and equine car boot. The auction of tack will commence at 12noon followed by the sale of horses. Entries for the auctions taken on the day. Entry to the field will be horse boxes £20, vehicles and trailers £20, cars £5. Equine stalls £20 - £40 depending on size, car boots £5. Horse entry fee £5 per horse, all horses paid out on the day. Entry to the field at 8am. No caterers pitches available.
The April Bromsgrove Horse Fair was a huge success. There were over 200 horses and ponies on the field with good trade for both driving and riding horses. The tack and harness auction was also extremely busy with many good lots forward, plus some bargains. An Ifor Williams horse trailer was sold for £1020 and agricultural items were in good demand.
There was a good number of trade stands selling a variety of goods. George's catering trailer was very busy as always. The chips, bacon and sausages are delicious, with good cups of tea & coffee all very reasonably priced and a very friendly service. Everyone is welcome come and have a day out.
