David Morgan-Davies roundback gig. This is a hard to find roundback private driving show gig purpose built for small Welsh Mountain ponies. It features Cee springs on 39" 12 spoke fine metal gig wheels and has been shown very successfully at County and National level.

Vis a Vis wedding carriage, suitable for 15hh+ single or pair. Imported from Robert's Carriages in Canada (these are now imported by Maple Leaf Carriage Company). 4-6 seater plus driver and groom seat. Navy blue with gold lineage matching deep buttoned draylon upholstery.
Full set of rain covers, makes carriage enclosed thus stopping wind and rain. Comes in sections so you can add as little or as much as you want. Rear grooms box as well as under seat storage. Wooden wheels, foot and hand brake, shafts & pair pole.
This carriage offers a very smooth ride with the fantastic overall elegance needed for weddings. The fifth wheel offers you that full lock needed outside some churches/receptions. Spider Phaeton
A Spider phaeton made originally, I believe, in America and restored in the 1990’s by Fairbourne Carriages. Our 13.2hh New Forest pony happily pulled this vehicle as it is very light and easy to pull, and it would easily accommodate a much bigger horse, probably up to 16hh. The driving seat has buttoned upholstery, and there is a dickey seat at the rear. The paintwork is in generally good condition although there are a few flakes of paint missing underneath and around the axles and wheels. These could be easily touched up if you felt the need.
The wheels are in good condition and have rubber tyres, metal hubs and run on ball bearings giving it a low rolling resistance and making it easy to pull. I bought a pairs pole for the vehicle which needs finishing off and painting.

We are not quite certain of the actual use of this vehicle but it is very old, approx 100-150 years and we think it must have been some kind of market or farm vehicle.

Competition Vehicle with Trailer
It's a lightweight competition carriage and has been designed, engineered and used by Philip Turner. It has independent shafts, plus an extra set of competition shafts, it will fit up to 14.2hh horse. It has disc brakes, independent suspension plus shock absorbers.
The front 2 wheels turn right under the carriage so it can turn on a sixpence! The wheels are 33" in height and the carriage also has a purpose built lightweight trailer for towing it.
The shafts could be changed to use a taller horse or can be fitted for pairs. It has been stored in the barn and the pictures do not do it justice!
